All quiet out in the filed as the blueberry plants have entered their winter dormancy. They will awaken in March as the sun grows in strength and sap rises from the roots. The buds set now will gain in fullness and tiny leaves will begin to unfurl.

​Such stuff as dreams are made on, such are the dreams of the sleeping plants. And dreams do come true.
