Farm Journal- September
AH- summer is over. Need we say more?
As we enter this month we are still repairing the nets but will finish wrapping them up for the winter in a few days. Irrigation continues as the drought continues. There is no longer any blue in the field, except for the sky and the birds, but we expect more of fall's color by month's end.
The lack of rain has dried nearly everything that is not being watered but there is Goldenrod, Spotted Knapweed, and Milkweed for the migrating Monarchs. And in the garden- tomatoes, zinnias, and pumpkins!
