Farm Journal- December

The blueberry plants have donned their festive color for the season upon us. Another year put to bed. How time does fly! They are snuggled up under their leafy mulch, their work well accomplished for the year.
While they rest, we will celebrate a year of bounty- the good days that brought us joy and the challenging ones we learn from. Like our beautiful plants, we cycle through our own outworn branches, leaving space for new growth, for experiences and relationships and opportunities in the year ahead.
Above all, we pray for world peace and the patience and fortitude it will take to get there, knowing it can only begin here, on the little patch of earth we call home.
