Farm Journal- November
This month brings such visual change it is often astounding. The color of the early weeks will be replaced with an almost monochrome uniformity marking winter's entrance. Just as Orion, the winter constellation, is already ascending the late evening sky. As each leaf spins from the tree that held it and falls gently to the earth, we think of the days past, the spring buds, the full flower, the autumn harvest, that mark the passing of each day, each bright joy, of this beautiful year. And we know it was last November's wind-blown leaves that made these possible, as these will the next.
