Farm Journal- June
As you may have read on our Home Page, we will not be opening the farm to the public this summer! We'll keep you posted if we can make arrangements with local venues for retail sales, as we know it just won't be summer without our blueberries for a lot of our loyal patrons. We have been very moved by the outpouring of support and your expressions of sadness. Thank you!
The berries are beginning to form now beneath the lovely May flowers. The Bumblebees, local and imported, are just about done with pollination, having swept through the field over the past few weeks. Like the bees, we will continue our care for the plants, whether open or not, and besides, there is always next year to consider.
