The blueberry buds are aglow with spring color all across the field. To them it is April as it has always been. It is a comfort to be out there among them.
We have decided to cut back on our pruning this year and only do what is absolutely necessary. This is a cost cutting measure since we do not know if we will be able to open this coming summer. That decision will come in the next couple of months. It is certain that things will change and that we will all find ways to take the best of the past and let go of what no longer serves the common good.
