Farm Journal ~ September

All is quiet out in the field. Only the sound of bird song, crickets, and the wind in the trees.

It has been an unusual summer to say the least and we are relieved to put it behind us.

We hope to attend to the mighty weeds which have had their way over these several months but we will enjoy the present beauty of the stands of goldenrod, milkweed, and even mugwort.

Here is hoping September is a long slow month filled with beautiful temperate days.
