Farm Journal- February
February dusk. The clouds seem more beautiful this winter than they ever have. Maybe because we are home more to see them. They make for stunning sunsets as well.
This month we celebrate Candlemas, a cross-quarter day marking the passage of time between the winter solstice and the spring equinox- something to celebrate. It's also know as Groundhog Day of course. And then there is Valentine's Day, both make this a special month. Spring is on the horizon and love is in the air.
The blueberry plants are still gently sleeping and there won't be much stirring their dormancy until next month when the days are longer and the sun stronger. Hope everyone is catching up on their healing rest. Brighter days are ahead.
