Farm Journal- June

The bees have done their work pollinating and as the blossoms fall to the ground berries form in their place. The familiar star shape is apparent now atop the fattening green blueberry below, dusted with tree pollen.
Our work continues too as we prepare for our opening next month. The plants look strong and healthy and laden with their new crop. The rows are all neatly mowed and weeded. All we need for the month of June is plenty of sunshine and enough rain to supplement our irrigation- keeping a good eye out for signs of predators. In due time the gates will open.
