Farm Journal- December
As a friend said recently I still have things to get to in July- that's how fast this year seems to have flown by. Many of us haven't fully shaken off last winter. But here we are. Once again, right on cue, the blueberry plants have turned their December red. What leaves remain are few and far between but brightly colored. We have finished mulching the rows in preparation for the cold ahead, bedding the bushes down as it were for their winter sleep.
And as the holidays approach in the full circle of the year we look around at each and every thing that makes up the whole and name the beauty all around us and try to do our part.
Time to celebrate the re-birth of a love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
